What are the odds; First I don't upload or write anything for a month, and now I post 2 deviantions in 2 days. 
This is a giftart of Doctor Who for my sweet friend Merilyn =SheldonSands.
It was her birthday on January 27th, but aside from that I wanted to give her a drawing of mine. Since she loves David Tennant as the Doctor (and so do I from now on) and drew a bunch of DW kissing scenes I just had to draw one for her too. And today she got my mail so I can show it to you guys and gals as well. Whoohoo!

It's a blue jacket!
For my birthday I also got pencils from =SheldonSands which I used to draw this image. So I basically used a gift from her to create a gift for her.
The blue colours were drawn with Van Gogh pencils. Those pencils are rather... crayon like, not easy to blend, so I bought a full collection of new pencils of the brand Derwent. Those pencils are Coloursoft pencils which seem to create the same effect as Prisma Colors which can't be bought in the Netherlands at all >_> so from now on I'll draw large sketches with the Coloursoft pencils, and small coloured areas with Van Gogh pencils. (I got a bunch of questions about this so here's your answer
).
Anyway, other things I've used for this drawing are:
- Hahnemühle Nostalgie sketchbook paper - A4 size
- Kleenex tissues for blending
- regular 2H, H, HB, B & 2B Derwent pencils
- 2B mechanical pencils for some details
- blue coloured Van Gogh pencils
- kneaded eraser
- love and devotion
Time spent: approx 20 to 25 hours
