So, whaddaya think Doctor? Blue, Red or Brown tie?
...Whut?!
I've been sketching Doctors to make me feel better!
Matt Smith and David Tennant as Doctor Ten and Eleven, obviously experiencing some sort of time crash. Maybe that's also the reason why the electricity of our house turned off for 1.5 hours when I wanted to hit the submit button to post this. (No really. That really happened. LOL. ).
During my absence I've drawn tons and tons of Doctor Who scribbles. These 2 are actually the last of the 60 sketches (or 61 if you also include the TARDIS) that I've made. All done within the last 2.5 weeks!
Drawn in 3 hours with graphite and Faber Castell Polychromos pencils. Threw a layer on top of the drawing for p0wns0me vintage look. AND I've mixed a million reference images to create my own reference for this, lol. That alone took me longer than drawing this thing!
----------
The other 58 sketches which you will see upcoming weeks are also coloured and done in 8 different art styles. I was experimenting with different types of pencils, drawing techniques, styles of art and the like I hope you guys and gals are going to like them!
(And yes, I am now officially HEAVILY obsessed with Doctor Who & Torchwood these days. But don't you worry! Stuff like Supernatural and realism portraiture will appear in my gallery again sooner or later.)
I'm pretty sure I've commented on this twice already, but every time I go through Doctor Who pics on Deviantart, I always come back to this one. It's just.... it's just wondrous! I can't get enough of it and I wish I could favorite it a million jillion times.
well, you have much to learn my young padawan. but that's okay. I don't know everything either. here's a clip to start you. 50 years ago, the TARDIS takes off for the first time.
