Yes, that's right. I finally did a self portrait. What a surprise!

Never ever did I dare to draw myself before and this was a huge step for me. I feel exposed.
My hair isn't really that long. Normally it just falls over my shoulders, but I didn't really want to expose my whole self so I made my hair cover some parts of my body. :shrug:

And the rest is just... well... me. :)

I hope you like it. I know it's something totally different!



Stuff I used:
  • H, HB, B, 2B & 3B mechanical pencils

  • tissues and tortillions for blending

  • regular eraser

  • A4 sketchbook

    • Time spent: 9,5 hours

    Took the reference pictures myself.
    Don't ask me how. :roll:


    I tried to be someone else
    But nothing seemed to change
    I know now.
    This is who I really am inside.
    Finally found myself.
    Fighting for a chance.
    I know now
    This is who I really am.

    Wow. This is really nice. The shading is so smooth. Your face and hair looks really realistic! fantastic job you've done :D

    You look very pretty in that picture. It is very artistic piece of work!! Great job! I know it is difficult to do self protrait. I can never do one. I dont like drawing my own face. haha!

    Glad to hear you are doing another final fantasy project. Im anticipating it!
