SPN - Sam Winchesterby `Cataclysm-X

Numero 5 of the 12 coloured Supernatural sketches that I'm drawing. This time it's our very own Sammy Winchester played by the awesome Jared Padalecki. The guy I had the honour to meet and talk to a while ago.

The last sketch I finished was the blue one of Jim Beaver as Bobby Singer. Funny thing is, the day after I posted it on deviantART, I personally got a message at Twitter from Jim himself

saying:

Anyhoo.

So far I made A5 sketches of...

Dean Winchester - drawn in Black / White

Ruby - drawn in Purple / Pink

Castiel - drawn in Red / Mahogany Brown

Bobby - drawn in Blue

Sam Winchester - drawn in Viridian (Blue/Green)

This was the first time I used only 1 coloured pencil to draw the entire thing, which was the colour Viridian (next to Black, but that doesn't count since I use black for all of my coloured sketches).

So aside from using 1 single colour, it was a nice challenge to draw this particular image of Sam. It has the weirdest shading and shadows, and since it looks quite odd on its own, I tried to change the lightfall a bit in my drawing to make it still look like Sam / Jared without messing up the lighting.

Other supplies I used were HB mechanical pencil for the outlines and a 2B pencil for the strong lines. This was made in... hmm... approx 2.5 hours tops if I'm not mistaken. (:

Oh My Freakin God!! Honestly you're a legend!! They look exactly like photos just different colours!! And in 2 and a half hours each!! Man, you have to put a tutorial together and get that talent out there straight away, like today!!
