My little friend

Aww, what an adorable little guy! (And a photo well-exposed for both the black and the white fur.)

My parents' "first child" was a whip-smart Berner lady, and then some time after they lost her they got another BMD, a male who turned out to be a big, lovable, but lazy slob, and a "one-man" dog (my dad's) ... who nonetheless was fiercely protective (and tolerant) of my sister and me when we were little. Even with breed-characteristic guidelines, ya never know!
