Hi my friends, long time no see, post, whatever..


I finally finished my portrait of Matt Smith (11th Doctor) for the lovely and ever-so-patient ~trinityknot. It should be there with you any day now.

Optional title: Till We Meet Again


Normally I am faster with drawing portraits, but lately (last couple of years) I have some issues with my hands and back so I couldn't draw much. BUT, as it turned out my hands felt slightly better last 2 months, I could finally finish this large figure drawing. Yay!


It was drawn on A3 size (30 x 40cm) with graphite pencils and several pink/purple Prisma color pencils.
Or more specifically:

- 2H, H, F, HB, 2B mechanical pencils
- H, HB, 2B, 3B, 5B, 6B, 8B regular pencils
- 5 Prisma colors
- Hahnemühle Nostalgie A3 size paper
- Q-tips and tissues for blending
- reference image, obviously

Estimated time: approx 60 hours
