Whoa this is an oldie!!!

My version of the infamous artwork The Announcement by Luis Royo.
(Previously known as 'Silent Crying'.)

I was ordening all of my drawings in folders, the ones which I've made since 2001 (my first ever realistic picture was a group photo of Metallica :giggle:, so not the one shown in this deviation).



I found this drawing which I made it 3 years ago (in 2005, when I was 17). It was framed for many years because I was/am so proud of it.

I know there are many mistakes, but it was one of the first drawings with strong contrasts (all drawn with a HB pencil!) and clear details.
Back then I didn't really care about proportions. :no:



Luis Royo has always been one of my favourite artists.
It's one of the many reasons why I drew my favourite work of his. The other reasons don't really matter... (;

Hope you still like it. At least I do!


And please don't ask me how much time I spent in this thing because I obviously can't remember. x)
