A drawing of one of my muses: Jared Leto
Also known as:
that actor from Alexander, Panic Room, Requiem for a Dream;
that guitar player/singer of the band 30 Seconds to Mars;
that guy I keep rambling about in my journals. 
I actually made a similar drawing before, called
Jared Leto - Capricorn.

...About the drawing...
I've been working on this for a few days and I think it's one of my best drawings I've ever made. Whoa!
I had a lot of troubles with the background (yeah, who could tell?!) and the stubble.
Normally I don't have troubles drawing stubble at all, but I had never drawn stubble on this kind of paper before so I kinda had to experience with different pencils. But it all worked out nicely in the end
I'm a happy person now.

4H, 2H, H 0.5mm mechanical pencils for the background
H, HB, B, 2B 0.5mm mechanical pencils for his head
All sorts of B pencils for the shirt
kneaded and regular erasers
tissue for blending
Hahnemühle sketchbook paper A4
teeny tiny small little detailless reference image
Work in Progress & reference image
Time spent: Approx 4 days (about 15 to 20 hours)!
