4 Years ago I swore I wouldn't draw any Johnny Depp drawings for 30 years (yeah, I have my reasons!). And there was this sweet *SkyeFlyte who wanted to have a commission of Jack Sparrow. I got started a few days ago and this is what came out after quite a lot of hours of work.

I must confess I really like to work on this one! But! I didn't start drawing him for my own.

So... did I, or didn't I break my own promise?

Dilemma!!!

I thought drawing Jack would be very difficult and surprisingly enough it actually is! All those teeny tiny details... *shiver* The dreads are the most time consuming things I've ever drawn lol. Can you tell?

The face on the other hand was quite a piece of cake. I'm glad that one went so fast! I was afraid the eyes would look too flat because it's hard to add some depth, shading and details in such a small area, but it worked out well I think.

This drawing makes me want to watch PotC again.
