- I hear a lot about this, what does it means? what is the difference between likeness and essence?
"If a drawing appears quite okay to the
eye, but something seems to look a bit off, hold a mirror next to your drawing and you will find
your flaw immediately!"
- This method doesn't work with me. When i mirror a picture, I see it exactly the same. Usually I fix mistakes by changing hand. Just switching hand make the drawing look different to my eyes, I wonder why.
"I lift my hand while I draw, so I don't touch my paper at all"
- I tried that but I can control the pencil this way.
"I switch between drawing with my left and right hand (I'm ambidextrous.)"
- In my case, whathever I do with my left hand, it doesn't smudge at all when I use pencils.
But lately I only draw with pen, so smudging became impossible.
