I was looking through my scraps and saw this very old portrait I did back in 2002. It made me smile, and laugh, because A) it's funny to see how I started and B) it looks so terribly bad. I remember, when I finished my first portrait, I was so proud of myself!


I had this crazy idea of getting all my best portraits of each year and put them next to each other.

Hmm, I think I improved my skills just a little, don't you think?... :laughing:

I had several periods
2002 - the 'I like to draw stuff from magazines' period
2003 - the 'Lord of the Rings rox my sox' period
2004 - the 'Johnny Depp is so cool' period
2005 - the 'random actors and actresses' period
2006 - the 'I think I really do like Final Fantasy' period
2007 - the 'and House kicks ass as well' period

So people, stop saying you won't become as good as I am these days. When I started, my stuff looked really bad, too!
