No way I'm going to do th-

Vincent: "Shush!"

But I...

Balthier: "Now it's my turn again!"
Zack: "What about me! I'm still waiting to get finished!"
Vincent: "You're interrupting me! This is my drawing!"
Sephiroth: "..."
Tifa: "You bunch of narcissists..."
Cloud: "Narcist? Isn't that some kind of flower?" :slow:

Okay everyone, that's enough!


This is the finished version of FF 7's Vincent Valentine from a work in progress which can be seen here (ôôhhh...).

I actually drew more to the image, but I'll leave it this way. So no Light Yagami (Death Note) and Riku (Kingdom Hearts) for y'all. Sorry about that. :shrug:

For some reason I never get bored to draw Vinc. This wasn't exactly a drawing I made for myself but as a commission, but still... it was fun.


So yeah...
- This part is as large as A5 sized paper :)
- drawn on Hahnemühle Nostalgie sketchbook paper
- the usual mechanical pencils (3B, 2B, B, HB, 2H)
- tissues and tortillion for blending
- reference image from Dirge of Cerberus.

Time spent: 8 hours for this part, for the entire drawing at least 30 hours (*sigh*)

This is amazing... I really, really like this. The shading is superb, no surprise since you're so good in that area, but I felt it was worth commenting on anyway. I particularly like his eyes, and lips. Ohhhh his MOUTH. It's a thing of beauty. The lips look so soft, with a delicate sheen to them...

o_o How did you draw this? This is amazing and has great detail! I've been currently trying to add detail to my art and make it realistic, so that's why I want to ask for tips, even if you used a reference. Because I want to work with Square Enix one day. c:
