In good or in bad times, anyone could need an angel to look after them. To make you feel safe, peaceful, gracious...

But most things of all:
to make you feel serene.

Drawing of an angel, featuring Jeff Buckley, who passed away in 1997 at the age of 31. But even now, after 14 years, people around the world find comfort in his music. They used to say he sang like an angel, mesmerizing everyone by the sound of his voice.

He has been my inspiration and comfort since the first time I heard him many many years ago.

Therefore, this drawing represents the way that I see him. And I hope that anyone who finds him- or herself in bad or good times, they will find the same comfort and kindness in whatever that makes them feel good.

Approx 8 hours of work on A5 size
Drawn with graphite pencils + Polychromos coloured pencils.
