I really don't feel like writing much right now. Spent to much on drawing today and my back hurts tremendously.
Here's a commission I've been working on for the awesome ~Eel-Skin-Beatrice. Elvis has been on my wishlist for a long time, and I had the luck she asked me to draw a portrait of him on A3 size!
I'm first working on his right side (our left) of his face, shaded and blended it a bit. Then I worked on the left, and since the contrasts change while you add more pencilstrokes, I switch back to the right, then the left again until the shading looks right and equal that being said, I still have to work quite a lot on the placement of the shading, but it's starting to look like Mr Presley! I'm very pleased with the result so far. (:
This is, by the way, the cropped version of the entire drawing. Once it is done, you'll get to see his entire pose. So much work, but oh so much fun to draw.
About 4 hours of work so far.

I know the problem with the back. Five hours drawing, editing are enough for me to have back ache the hole day Wow i love elvis so much! His face is so unique and you did a perfect job to underline his character. Well i donīt know him that much but...good work man!
"I love you, you wanna love me tender, blah blah blah blah, you love me today, but what about tomorrow?" I'm glad you took pictures of the process of your Elvis drawing, otherwise I seriously wouldn't have believe it to be a drawing.
