After many hours of pencil work, a painful throat and a thousand times of scanning, my drawing of Katie Holmes is finally finished! It seemed like forever 
... Especially the hair, which was a pain in the ass to do! 
I had been looking around at other people's galleries and drawings, especially of *jessie145 and *ArwenEvenstar16. I watched what techniques and materials they used, so I could experience a little with it.
So on this drawing I used mechanical pencils (0.5m HB and 2B) and a tortillion for the first time, and I enjoyed working with these things.
Many thanks to *jessie145 and *ArwenEvenstar16 for inspiring me!
I named this drawing after the song 'Atomic Soul' by Russell Allen. I really like that song.
