I figured I still have 5 Doctor Who sketchpages left (you know, the ones which I made back in July for sketching practice!) so I thought I could show 2 new but old pages!


I wanted to compare the old / 10th Doctor (Tennant, drawn in blue) to the new / 11th doctor (Smith, drawn in green) by sketching similar poses, and so I did. For the top drawing I used a mix of 3 different references, while the small sketches were drawn from different screencaps & promo pics which show, indeed, hand poses.


The bottom sketchpage (with the 6 doctors) is actually one of my favourite DW pages (along with the Time Crash one)...!


Sketchpages are cool.



Each figure took about 15 to 30 minutes to sketch with Faber Castell Polychromos pencils.
