Here's my new baby in the flesh. Or... metal, plastic materialish...

Say hi to Dave! Isn't he beauuutiful? :flirty:
Girlie shoes not included. They were mine already. C:

I'm hitting on Dave. :eyes:

I first wanted to call him Nicko (drummer from Iron Maiden, plus "Nic & Nicko" makes a perfect duo xD ) but I kept calling him Dave (probably after Dave Grohl) when I was putting him together.

--------

Ten years ago I bought my first drumset, a blue acoustic Pearl called "Larsie". Until recently I never realized that I've been a drummer for almost 10 years. November will be my 10th anniversary.
(That's right people. I went music crazy before I went art crazy!)

Anyhoo, yesterday I bought this beautiful electronic drumset (Roland TD-9KX) with a few extras. I included an awesome twin-pedal since my inner metal/jazz drummer was screaming for a double bass, and I'm using a bass amplifier for more p0wnsomeness. My neighbours will not be pleased.

I can play Metallica, Dream Theater, Iron Maiden all over again. :eager: Good old days!

I wanna thank you for your AMAZING support about my art/music decision!!!!! I was afraid people would be disappointed, but you proved me wrong.

Feel free to make some suggestions which songs I could try! I can play any genre, style and song :) I'll try to record some of it for youuuuu, and might upload some recordings at YouTube or Facebook once I got fully used to this set.

I'm off to drawing and drumming again!!! New Elvis and Supernatural updates soon!!! Adrenaline rush!!! Woohoo!!!

Yeah, 1st 2-bass drumset was Louie Belson's : Ma dad played with him often !  ; how do you  like electronic sets, Ive not to date played one (many a time on someone else's old, raggety-ass set for recordings / gigs) as I'm not really a drummer, but one must do what one must do at times to save the show / project, lol !!      Bonk
